    Default A Word Of Thanks

I would like to make a public word of Thank You to Chief Woods and his wife Laura for their very kind invitation to the opening ceremonies of the 83rd Prince George's County FD Convention.

Ceremonies have actually been "in play" since last Saturday, but the official opening was earlier tonight.

The entire event has been hosted by Brandywine Volunteer FD and they did a tremendous job of it. Well done Guys 'n Gals!

I gained some really useful insight to how things work down this neck o' da woods (no pun there eh? LOL ) and it was a pleasure to be a part of it. Last weekend there was an auto ex competition, and once I resize my photo files, I'll post some of them.

Thanks again to Harve and Laura, it was definitely worth missing my softball double header tonight!

The Friday night session was pretty good as well, Laura was re-elected to the board of Directors for another term. And, Last but not least, How about the Pirsch Engine that has been converted into a Beer Truck?

That is EXCELLENT NEWS on Laura being re-elected, although I kinda figured on that one .

You were NOT THE FIRST? I'da never guessed that (well ok. maybe the 2nd one eeheehe)

I was kinda wondering about the Pirsch. I noticed that the beer tent was sort of attached to it...... That was a mighty nice restoration done on that truck btw. That one is certainly something to be proud of, for sure.
