Homerton – derelict pub gutted by fire
A derelict pub in Frampton Park Road, Homerton, was gutted by fire last night. Four fire engines and over 20 firefighters tackled the blaze in the two-storey building. The cause of the fire is being investigated. The Brigade was called at 2008 and the fire was under control by 2107. Crews from Homerton and Kingsland fire stations attended the incident.

Mottingham – three rescued in stairwell blaze
Two women and a man were led to safety by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and taken to hospital after a fire in a pile of rubbish in Kimmeridge Road, Mottingham, early this morning. Part of the stairwell of the two-storey block was damaged in the fire and the cause is being investigated. The Brigade was called at 0010 and the fire was under control by 0035. Crews from Bromley, Downham, Eltham and Lee Green fire stations attended the incident.
