But George, isn't this the same thing that happens during any national emergency? How many people thought aircraft were headed at the Sears Tower on 9/11/01?

Need to talk to the crews that were in N.O. A bunch of Paramedics and EMT-B are quiting because of what they seen in N.O. You also need to talk to the 2 Acadian Ambulance Crews that were assualted and units taken and destoried..

Not everything you hear is true, but some of it too real... The news blows a lot out of proportion...

Talk to the men and women that were in N.O. and still helping in N.O.. It's too real for them..

    I personally wasn't in N.O. but I am now glad I wasn't..

That was what? Two or three hours after the attack? He made these comments days after the flooding.

But if you deal in the facts as we now know them, we know that it certainly was bad. But there were not these horrific stories that were being put forth by the media and the local officials.

Yea, instead of a bunch of rapes and murders, there are 12 puppies in the local school shot in the head. What the hell is up with that?
Even the burger-flippers at McDonald's probably have some McWackers.

Too bad you didn't wait until the facts were actually reported before rushing to judge the population of New Orleans... Just a thought.

Just because there was a drastic overestimation of fatalities and homicides, doesn't diminsh the absolute lawless looting and pillaging that was caught on camera. That was what my judgement was based on. And yes, it included the cops who were caught on camera looting, too.
