I started a blog almost a month ago for some of my fellow firefighters from the Bloomington FD and White River Township FD (in Indiana).
It was a way for them to share stories and keep in touch with loved ones at home. In the early days of the disaster, when they were deployed, we weren't sure how good communications were going to be...so the blog helped us keep in touch.
We tried to keep up with daily updates and pics.
I wanted to post this here sooner, but was unsure if I was duplicating anyones efforts, how it would be viewed, etc.
The stories are true, by real people and touching. I hope you enjoy. I have.
