FF Bill Hamm, a 30-year veteran of Paintsville (KY) Fire & Rescue, is in the Nashville (TN) VA Hospital fighting leukemia. Fortunately, the VA is taking care of Bill's medical expenses, but his family has significant expense in making the 660-mile round trip to and from his bedside, as well as for lodging while there.

His fellow firefighters at Paintsville are working on raising funds to help Bill's family with their expenses during his illness. They have already conducted a roadblock and expect to conduct other events in the near future.
