SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Police are looking for a man who burglarized a Salt Lake City Fire Department station over the weekend.

Officials say the station, located at 948 West 800 South, was broken into on Saturday night after firefighters responded to a bogus call.

Authorities say the thief walked into the station through an unlocked door and stole several items, including wallets, checkbooks, credit cards and other personal items.

After firefighters returned from the bogus call they saw a man leaving the building.

Fire officials say the man was about six feet tall and weighed about two-hundred pounds. He was wearing a torn white T-shirt and drove away in a copper-colored Chevrolet Corsica.
