I thought it was sodium that mixed well/didnt mix well (all depends how you percieve it) with water.

You are correct. If you take the periodic table of the elements and start at Hydrogen (H), Each step down your level of reaction with water rises. I pulled out my chem notes from school.
So for example Lithium is more reactive than hydrogen, sodium is more reactive than lithium, potassium is more reactive than sodium, Rubidium is more reactive than potassium, Cesium is more reactive than rubidium, and Francium is more reactive than rubidium.

We watched a video in class where via remote control a small amount of cesium was droped into aprox 1 gallon of water, the beaker exploded very violently. So just think what Francium does? BOOM!!!

Good thing these elements are not readily available.

Maybe we should get Bou some Francium for his 2500 posts. See if he cant find Mini-me whilst he is swimming.

Well, he would have to be a few thousand feet away behind a solid 8' steel reinforced concrete wall.

Ian.. you are supposed to dust the screen off before licking!

Actually, it's tastes better if you click on the image and then print it.
