    Default EASY Extra Money

I respect what all of you do, and I commend all of you in your bravery and saving lives, but this request is a little wierd...

I need pieces for a halloween costume, and was willing to rent someone's turnout gear for the weekend. Any used, old, torn gear, anything. I specifically need:

    Yellow Pants (Size 32x30)
    Yellow Pants (Size 34x32)
    Suspenders (Optional)
    Hat (Optional)

Thats all...and I will clean them give a deposit, whatever it takes.
    Thank You All

not too sure about america, but im pretty sure that civilians cant wear our gear, something to do with impersonating or something. the gear identifies us as a member of the fire and rescue authority. could be wrong though.
"There are only two things that i know are infinite, the universe and human stupidity. And im not so sure about the former."

For all the life of me, i cant see a firefighter going to hell. At least not for very long. We would end up putting out all the fires and annoying the devil too much.

Are you kidding? Most gear belongs to the department and NO ONE in thier right mind will allow you to use thiers - especially in this day and age. Are you REALLY going to use it for Halloween? (see what I mean here?)

There are adult sized fireman costumes at Wal Mart

How would you plan to clean such a thing? Hopefully not in your home / private use washer and dryer? It's just not that easy....

Also, the average set of gear costs about 1300 or so dollars, can you give a BIG deposite like that?

If he has that kind of money for a deposit he should be looking on ebay.

airicwong: I think it should be clear by now that no-one is going to be lending or renting out any gear to you.
Go to Walmart or a thrift shop...whatever prize you are going after is not worth a Firefighter sacrificing their position or their dignity.
