My department is starting a PSD team and we need some information on what type of physical testing we need to do prior to acceptance on the team.
I am asking anyone with current PT test in place if they could provide me with some direction it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Our entry acceptance test is a 300yd swim followed by a 10 minute tread. Once through the certification the requirement to be on the team is based off of the NFPA 1006 Watermanship test. It is as follows:

We had a hell of a time getting an annual test started, currently the standard is simple
100 yard swim
5 min tread
remove and demonstrate the ability to clear your AGA
While it is very simple we had to start somewhere, hopefully it will get harder in the not to distant future.
