Anyone know when the next class might be? The waiting game really sucks. The BI is pretty ridiculous. They have contacted every single employer I put down on the application, some from 10 years ago. They also contacted my current employer, but fortunately for me it was not a big deal. Good luck to the rest of you

I don't know when the next class will be but I do know that the reason everyone was called down on the 5th was to have everyone processed so they can fill the next three classes. If you have a high # you may be waiting awhile.

What exactly do classify as being a high number? Are we talking 1000?

I am in the low 300's so it seems I will be waiting a while, unless they have a large class. Although I have been told they still want to have classes every three months.

Just to give a little info, I am # 1400 or so and my last 2 are 40. They are indeed going by your last # of your SS by way of starting with the 9's. So logic would tell you if your last digit is a 9, 0, 1, 2, you might see a letter depending on the retirements/openings, anything higher is going to be tough.

It's a process with really no guarantees. I'm sitting in the low 2000's and hope they speed up the process soon. I'm currently making over 70K as a technician for the federal government. It's a good job but if I get the CFD call I will probably still go.

Not sure who it was that called, hadn't heard of her name before. The lasdy who was in contact with me for my background was Commander Muse, this was not her. She said nothing more than "you need to report to 1338 S. Clinton, May 3rd, this saturday, at 8am."

You think? Wonder why that would be. None of my personal references were called, and i'm higher up on the list that other people who haven't even been contacted for the background....weird. I run everyday, have been for 6 years, so i'm not too worried about that
