yes we are interested. Because we have some special plans to them, and we are not going to put them on an severe task continuously as FDNY does.

Why would you want to buy a truck that's about to **** the bed and fall apart? You'll spend more money in the long run with having to maintain one of these trucks, compared to a used vehicle from a dealer, or a refurbed one, etc.

So you're not going to use them to respond to emergencies?? Or you're not going to load them with equipment??

Maybe a County organization that wants them to load with Haz Mat/WMD and/or USAR equipment and pre-position around the county at different departments.
Stay low and move it in.

    Be safe.

    Check out his location ...

ON an aside ... I think there have been other threads that mention firefighters from "sister" cities in the States going to Puerto Rico with old fire trucks that were donated, and assistance with training, but I could be wrong on the location and it was some Central or South American country.

Of course, I could be TOTALLY off base and they DO have county's in Puerto Rico

    in response to RspctFrmCalgary:

We have 78 municipalities each one with its own fire station. Each fire station is part of The Puerto Rico Fire Department. You are right in the past a long time ago, once people from New York, came in to give some training and they donated a pumper truck. That have been the only instance up to date that we got a donation from the US. Althoug we donate from time to time units to our brothers from the Dominican Republic.

The Reason that I'm looking to have one or two of the FDNY E-One Rescue, is because we are planning to use them as Equipment Moovers, since we running low in space avability and there still more equipement to come. Our new heavy rescue that is about to arrive in January is already Full. And as STATION2 said, we are planning to have 1 with out US&R equiment in our station and the other one with the Haz Mat/WMD in the "Metro" Station.

I hope that this helps to clear your thoughts.

If you buy one of the E-One Rescues, I hope you have a heavy-duty tow truck not far behind it at all times!
