Hello. Welcome to the forums. I too joined up a month ago, but have been in the fire service about 16 years. Maybe we have a lot in common.

hi, I'm the training officer for the UTTR, i'm not sure what your looking for. Alot of the training, classroom versions you can download from (thefiredude.com) or do a google search and download Powerpoint presentations. This is a cheap way to get a good rounded library to work with. After downloading you just tailor the verbage to meet your needs. This also will help in spurring ideas of your own. I you want e-mail me at cory.lingelbach@hill.af.mil tell me what kind of info you want and i can send you what i have.

Flashover training is good for everyone, it reminds you not to get tunnel vision ,keep your eyes open and read the fire and smoke , because it tell you what stage it is in . good luck.

Hey Capt, I am a volunteer/PCF in Southern California. I am active duty military as well. Any questions about training give me a holler. I assist with the Fire Academy we put on for our community college here.

Isn't that funny. Your profile says that you have 30 years in and that you are a captain. What else did you lie about?
