MISS. FF Killed In Apparatus Crash (The Secret list)

It is with deep regret that we advise you about the line of duty death of Asst. Chief James Webb,Jr, from Mississippi who died in the line of duty on Saturday when the tanker he was driving overturned. Assistant Chief Webb was an eight-year Bynum Volunteer Fire Department veteran and died while responding to a structure fire. The vehicle, which Webb was in alone, ended up overturned in a ditch. Webb was thrown from the cab, and was believed to have died from injuries received during the accident.

"It wasn't in a bad place," Reagan said of the accident scene, adding that Webb was a reliable, experienced driver driving a well-maintained vehicle. Webb died on the scene, and no one saw the accident, Reagan said. This was the department’s first line-of-duty death, according to Reagan. Webb, 41, is survived by his wife Daphne, two sons Caleb and Blake, his parents Mr. and Mrs. James C. Webb.

MO. FF Killed (The Secret list)

A Neosho, Missouri firefighter was killed this afternoon while operating at a structural fire. Companies were on the scene at "Ragland Mills" in Neosho this afternoon when "something" went wrong. A fire had broken out at the facility and apparently the firefighter who was died was inside the building and had got onto a conveyor to get up above the flames. Officials say that`s when the incident occurred. Newton County Sheriff Ken Copeland says no further details can be released until the Missouri State Fire Marshall completes his investigation. As of right now, rescue workers have not been able to remove the firefighter from
the building. In the meantime, officials await the arrival of the Missouri State Fire Marshall who will investigate the scene. Sheriff Copeland says the fire broke out around one 1 pm. The incident happened about 45 minutes later. Ragland Mills makes protein supplements for livestock and the fire broke out in the main building at the facility. The fire is contained but it has not actually been put out. More details when we get them.

Take Care-BE CAREFUL,
