GA. FF Killed In Apparatus Crash (The Secret list)

A fire department tanker returning from a call ran off a Harris County road yesterday in Ellerslie (Georgia) and crashed into a tree, killing the apparatus driver. Firefighter Kevin Joe Foster, 41, was traveling on Warm Springs Road near Ellerslie when he swerved off the road, over-corrected and drove head-on into the tree, according to the Georgia State Patrol said. The apparatus was carrying 2,000 gallons of water and the apparatus was split in half when it hit the tree. Witnesses said the firefighter was driving no faster than 35 mph. The State Patrol said it was not clear why Foster swerved off the road. We will post additional details when applicable on our home page at FirefighterCloseCalls.com. As always, our deepest sympathy goes out to the members of the department but especially to the family and friends of Firefighter Foster.

Take Care-BE CAREFUL,
