I think that it all depends on what is causing the moral to drop in the first place. Maybe if you can be a little more specific about what is going on, someone will be able to help out. Sorry but that's all I have for now!!!
Just someone trying to help! (And by the way....Thanks for YOUR help!)

Aggressive does not have to equal stupid.

Keep everyone involved and thank them for doing the right thing.

When you praise the people and it is coming from a respected member it counts. I once knew a very wise man who would make you think you were doing a great job and built you up with it. Then because you respected his opinion you raised your own level of expectation to meet what he complimented you on.

Those of us in Vermont miss Brother Ray very much...

    Thumbs up Morale Booster

We are a small local (less than 30 members), byself and a fellow brother decieded to try to booster morale areound here by having a special Thanksgiving Breakfast for all the guys on and off shift since they were going to be away from thier families for breakfast. We went online and Ordered Ostich Eggs from California (We are in Michigan), it took about 3 days to recieve them. Alot of the brothers we able to partake in the Thanksgiving day breakfast and walked away very satified and happy.
One Egg is equal to about 10-12 normal eggs, can be up to 2 dozen eggs for the larger ones. They are lighter than the regular, make great omelets and scrambled. Our Morale is so shot here it is almost comical, so we try to do anythin we can to make each other laugh..if it was not for many of the crews that work together it may be very scary for the citizens.

Good Luck and Be Safe All
    Happy Holidays

We try to find something funny in each member so no one feels left out on the theory that if you aren't being picked on,no one knows that you even exist and NO ONE is immune.(We have one young member that especially wishes he wasn't so well loved)
After calls, especially ones that run through mealtimes, the Chief will make a Mickie D's run or have somebody get some chili or something to eat after we get the rigs rehabbed.
We also hand over cell phones to someone staying outside to answer while we are working. It alleviates some of the worry and aggravation of"Why doesn't he pick his d$#@^ phone up?".
Training meetings are started off with a dinner whomped up by the Chief and/or whoever happens to have an idea for food. We've had catered dinners with wives, girlfriends and kids invited for Christmas and also breaksfast burritos heavy on the eggs, peppers and beans before using the state flashover trailer.
Anything that those in the"wheelhouse"can do to let the worker bees know that their efforts are known and appreciated helps.

Easy - treat everyone the same, with a little respect. If they are there for the right reasons, that's all they are usually asking for.
