    Count mine.

But methinks this is going to be tougher than preston's little battle. This magazine has a pretty wide international distribution.

    How often can we vote?

Preston's challenge attracted several thousand votes dont forget. That Ashley girl wanted it bad.

Is it just me or does the female in Photo 9 look like she would rather be somewhere else?

I suspect that is the artists intention.

If you look at the full-size image, you will see that she is standing on her wrecked porch amid construction material. It looks as though she is from a storm struck area in NC or the south.

The artists intention could be to illustrate how the girls pageant victory is disrupted and overshadowed by the storm. Real life has a way of interupting even our most important moments.

It is actually a nice contrast peice, which would look weird and staged if she was smiling and waving.

That is a fair interpretation. I can see where you are coming from.

I just don't see it as building material. It just appeared to me as being unkept. In need of general repair/yard work.
In a way, it seems along the same lines of Beauty and the Beast.

Now that I have actually taken the time to look at the large picture, you can see the mood(if you can call it that).

Ahhh yes. Before you know it Mcaldwell, you'll have me visiting art galleries and attempting to determine what motivated the artist!

Hmmm just went to take another look and it would appear that unless you can log in from another IPA, you can not vote a 2nd time.

On the Lady on the Porch, it would appear that she's a Beauty Queen, surveying all that she owns.....But it looks like Prince Charming was a bit short on construction funds.

I've hit my three computers, but now I'm maxed out.

She is gaining steadily, but it looks like #5 is making a break for it (305 votes).
