Salary: $2369 Monthly
Who May Apply
REQUIREMENTS: The following are the minimum requirements for testing eligibility:
a) Must be at least 19 years of age by the date of the exam, and may not have reached their 36th brithday prior to being certified as eligible for a beginning position in the Department.
b) Must have a valid driver's license upon application and a valid Texas Driver's License before employment.
c) Must be at least a high school graduate or have received a certificate of equivalency for successful completion of the General Educational Development Test (GED).
d) Must be a citizen of the United States.
e) Must either possess a current paramedic certification issued by the Texas Department of Health or be able to obtain such certification within 18 months of employment through FIre Department sponsored training. Must maintain paramedic certification for a minimum of eight (8) years as a condition of employment. .
DATE & TIME OF EXAMINATION: Written Exam will be at 9:00 a.m. on January 20, 2006.
PLACE: American Bank Center, Exhibit Hall A, 1901 N. Shoreline, Corpus Christi, TX, 78401
APPLICATION INFORMATION: Applications must be submitted on-line only at www.cctexasjobs.com.
You must bring your admittance card, a photo identification, and a copy of DD214, if applicable, for extra 5 points at time of examination.
Any position that lists a minimum qualification for education level and/or license/certification will require the applicant to provide proof of documentation. This will be required when completing the Personal History Statement which will be handed out to all applicant passing the physical fitness test.
DEADLINE: Applications will be accepted through January 6, 2006.
Admittance cards to the test will be sent throughout the recruitment period.
