Default Reaching out to those NJ boys!!!!

    Hello everyone,

I'm trying to get a hold of some good pictures of Deepwater Fire Company's new Dash pumper. They are located in Salem County, I believe right by the delaware bridge. I have had no luck what so ever trying to get some pictures of this rig, and I could only find one picture on the internet:

Anyone that could help me with some pictures or someone I could contact to get said pictures can contact me via this board or email: firefightergtp@gmail.com

I'm mainly interested in the color scheme.

    Thanks!!

    Jason

Very nice truck, our truck was on the line with that one. Very nice when you get up close and check it out. I might have some pics, I will see when I get home.

Default Here are the construction pics for the Deepwater Rescue Engine

I was the project lead on that Rescue/Engine. Here is the website I put together for the project:
    www.deepwaterfd.photosite.com

I will post some more pictures of what the current compartment configuration is by the end of the week. She is quite a ride compared to our 1980 Mack CFs.

My sister company has a very similar paint scheme, but a white stripe instead of the dark one.

    Default Price

If you are asking, look to another mfg We worked with Saulsbury and Pierce for our spec. When Saulsbury went to E-junk, we were left with only one mfg or start over.

Our equipment cost replacement analysis has shown that new trucks seem to double in price every 10 years. At least for us they have. We get 15 years out of a truck. This replaced an '84 Mack CF. We still run are still running the '91. Steel body Macks rust like crazy, but the keep on running.

    Why?

I like Pierce and our two newest are Pierce.

Cost can be overcome if you can justify it...

    Captain7 -
I tried to email you but couldn't, anyway I was wondering how you like using the photosite. Do you pay anything for it or are you using the free service? I am looking for a good site to upload pictures to and be able to link to them.

    Thanks Steve

    Default Additional Info

There was no price difference between the Saulsbury/E-Junk and Pierce. We are really happy with this truck. If you want your truck built the way you want it, you must stay on top of every little detail. Pretty much every week through the preconstruction, and build process.

The photosite is totally free. Just download the install program that runs on your windoz computer. You build what they call a photo album on your computer, then you publish it up to their site. I used the site to keep our membership up to speed with the build process during the construction of the truck.
