I am a firefighter of 17 years with three departments. I currently work for Gaffney City FD with a call log of about 2800 calls in 2004 and close to 3000 in 2005 so far divided between three stations and 36 paid staff. I started out with Buffalo VFD in Blacksburg, SC but then I moved and joined up with Cowpens FD with 1 paid staff, 3 part time staff on a three shift rotation, and 23 volunteers.
