creating pager IDs in FireHouse software

Greetings! I'm new to this, so am not sure if this will post under "Technology and Compuiters" but here goes. (Perhaps someone can give me guidance on how to do that - start a thread under a specific heading.)

I'm entering new info on pagers under Inventory in FireHouse software. Can anyone speak to their experience of setting up IDs? Is it more logical to set up an ID to include the serial # or the name of the member it has been issued to?

wondering if you can tell me how much the firehouse software was. i just got a demo but when i call for a price i cant get an answer.

I'll get back to you in a few days about that, after I check at the station. We also pay for support annually - it is an expense but well worth it and they are great to deal with.

sorry ...didn't find the cost of the software. Have you tried contacting them via their website? Let me know what state you are in and I'll let you know what info I have in the user guide for the sales contact.
