Default Any Fellow Bagpipers out there??

Hey guys....Just wondering if theres some other pipers out there on the forums? I just started my lessons 3 weeks ago and was wondering if anyone has any good tips to make things easier....We started out with the Marine Corp Hymn as the first song and its kinda tough....but I keep practicing and not gonna give up no matter how frustrated I get because its gonna be worth it when I get my set of pipes in April (tax return $$ )

I love the sound of the pipes!

A senior Lt. in my dept. has been playing and teaching the pipes for years. He is an true professional. He plays at lots of events over a wide area and plays at all of the FF funerals for our dept...

Well, I don't know about that, but I'd suggest going to the Bergen County Firefighters Pipe Band website, and buy their CD. It is absolutely amazing, and they sound like they're having a blast!!

    try www.bcfpb.com

Good luck, practice, practice and practice some more, and have fun!

Not really, we have the Metro Detroit Police Fire Band its a collection of people from the area not all are police or fire. Some very talented players and drummers.
