I'm not sure who they went to, but we did receive a letter stating that they will not be renewing their contract with E-One, but will still service trucks that they previously sold or any other trucks of different makes. I'm not sure if they went with Rosenbauer or not...We just signed on the purchase of a new Rosenbauer, but our sales rep. is out of Midvale, OH. I wouldn't be happy if I were a Rosenbauer dealer and another one comes that close. I guess I'll have to ask my sales rep. about it.

good ridance i say to eone from this part of ohio
we will not miss them in the least
as for rosen..... cleveland is over-run with their vehicles
i will wait and see how they hold up but i am not overly pleased aesthetically with their so-called evolution series cab
looks european which it very well may be
since all american is staying here with rosen... i have a funny feeling their aggressive salesman who sold this community its last eone will be getting us a new rosen or whatever next time around
love to hear the propaganda he will be using then to make rosen look like the greatest thing in the world
when he repped eone he preached the gospel of 3/16" thickness
funny it didnt help when the hush squad was rear-ended by a car during a late nite car fire and the city couldnt get 1c from the dude who did it and it cost 11G's to fix and the 3/16ths didnt prevent the damage
good thing all american will honor previous purchases and maintain apparatus under warranty or made by eone or even other builders

The Evolution cab is a Spartan product, available to anyone that wishes to use that particular model under their fire body. It is not a Rosenbauer product.
Spartan Web Site
At the above link you can see Cleveland at the Spartan facility inspecting a chassis.
Rosenbauer does have their own version of the Spartan chassis (as do other makes, such as Ferrara and Smeal), which is labeled the Commander AT and is a bit more conservative that the Evolution.

Actually
Actually Crimson is owned by Spartan. Also anyone who tells you that a Spartan under someone else's name is anything special should be shot. My 2 cents

You are correct, Rosenbauer doesn't own Spartan. Spartan owns Crimson.
But.....I do know Crimson is for sale...

E-One dealer gonzo
The West Coast Canadian E-One dealer recently parted with E-One as well. They have also gone with Rosenbauer. Rumour also has it that the E-One manufacturing plant in Red-Deer is shutting down.

We have had good service from All-American, and our Freighliner Chassised E-ones have held up well.

??
Todd where did you hear that Crimson was for sale? E-One should close the Red Deer facility, too expensive to get through customs anymore. They didnt build much up there anyway, mostly small brush trucks and light duty rescues.
