    Unhappy Three Firefighters injured in Truck Crash

    MEDFORD--- Three firefighters were injured this afternoon when a fire engine left the roadway and landed sideways into a ditch.

    According to Burlington County Emergency Communications, the Medford engine was responding to a call in a neighboring town when the vehicle landed in a ditch, trapping three firefighters.

    The accident took place about 3:45 p.m. on Branin Road near the intersection of Stokes Road and Chairville Road.

    One firefighter was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital in Camden with serious injuries. The two other firefighters were taken to Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly and West Jersey Hospital in Evesham.

    Minor injuries. Word I've received is that they're already out of the hospital.
