Any firefighters deployed to the Katrina relief effort, MUST go home at the end of their Initial 120 day deployment. We all signed up for Temporary status and that will expire on your last day, and then you are not authorized to work, and therefore admin is not authorized to pay you.
FEMA HQ is sending packets in the mail to everyone home address, with the application packet to be a full DAE and fingerprint cards. These packets must be completed and returned, then you must wait to be redeployed.
PLEASE PASS THIS INFORMATION ON TO ANY PERSONEL YOU HAVE WORKING IN THE DISASTER.
