do you use a general air compressor to "charge" the line or do you have something a bit more specific?

Most air compressor's should be able to do it...so long as you don't have a leak in the hose or coupling.

Training Structure
Has any dept. recieved grant money to build these training structures using shipping containers?
Do not equate money with success. There are many successful moneymakers who are miserable failures as human beings.
What counts most about success is how a person achieves it.

Today I was at the Rock Island Arsenal to inspect some DOD surplus for our FD. Next door what do I see but a large really neat ISO container training tower under construction. The guys at the post FD tells me that the State of Ill Terrorism _______ used DHS $ to build 7 or 9 of these identical units around the state.
Ill Fire Service Institute hired an engineer to design a std structure.
Looks like about 12 40' containers. Very nice setup.
Google gave me a photo site.
