    Talking Grants -- Happy Holidays!

There will be an announcement Friday. Whether it includes SAFER, I don't know. But I can confirm that AFG will be announced.

Santy Claus will be coming early. What better present than a big old pile of federal dollars.

Except maybe with the prices of heating oil and natural gas some will be wishing for that coal in the stocking.

Happy Holidays to everyone and their families. Stay Safe, and always remember to drink enough but not too much. And of course no getting behind the wheel of anything after that.

Don't forget a New Year's Resolution to be done with the grant work by Jan 31st.

Happy Holidays to all. Oh yeah, and just as an added bonus, those of you that put in for Fire Prevention & Safety Grants this year, DHS started sending out 10 questions and posting award numbers on 1199As today . Got 3 already, so maybe a little stocking stuffer out there for some of you too!

Tony, Thanks for the Holiday wishes! Now, go soak your feet, drown your troubles (tomorrow you will have your transportation back!!!) and relax tonight! It is certainly my pleasure to get to be involved with everyone on the forums, in addition to the departments I work with all year.

So, Season's Greetings & Merry Christmas to everyone and I hope everyone gets everything on their wish list!
