Home fire kills 2-year-old boy

UINTAH COUNTY A 2-year-old died in a home fire Wednesday night after he wasn't able to get out.
Crews responded to a call of an explosion in southwest Uintah County, east of Myton and south of Fort Duchesne, just after 8 p.m. and found a mobile home fully engulfed in flames, said Uintah County Sheriff's Lt. Robert Roth.
A 33-year-old male suffered severe burns to his hands, face and legs and was transported to a hospital. Three children were also in the home at the time and two were able to make it out, one with minor injuries and the other taken to the University of Utah Medical Center for burn treatment, Roth said.
The State Fire Marshal has been asked to assist in an investigation. The cause of the fire is unknown.
