I am a member of a small all volunteer dept. We were succesfull in 2004 and applied in 2005 but was turned down. I felt that we had a good project and narrative for this past grant period. However after making it all the way through then receiving our DJ letter, it appears our narrative good use some tweaking. So I was wondering if anyone out there would be willing to look over our narrative and offer some suggestions.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Lots of good projects with good or better narratives were turned down this year, competition is getting better as the years go on. Depending on the project I can point you down some avenues to get someone to look at it or work on 2006 (better option). Some for little or no cost.

Thanks for the reply
Brian,
Thanks for the response, its kind of good to here that there were many good projects turned down, not just ours. But you are right, it is getting more competivtive. I would be very interested in what avenues you have for some help. If you need some information from me just let know.
Thanks again,
Jerry
