Weather Sparks Brush Fires
Charleston, W.Va. - Everyone was enjoying the warm weather Monday, but the warm temperatures and winds were keeping the forest rangers busy. Forest rangers say a brush fire along Frame Road, in Elkview, could have been much worse. Officials were able to contain the fire to 20 acres, but officials say it could have easily spread across a hundred acres.
This typically isn't the time of year where we see these types of problems, but officials say the warm temperatures and brisk winds posed some unexpected problems
