I could use some help with mounting hydraulic tools. We are currently completely revamping our hydraulics (all new tools and 2 new reels). We are also adding tools. What I need are PICTURES of how you have the tools mounted. Seems that most mounts are custom from the truck manufacturer. We have ideas but would like to see what else is out there and how you did it. You can post them here or email them to me
Thanks in advance

Are you standing them up or placing them on trays?Richard Nester

Probably a combination of both. I'd really like any and all ideas. We are looking at completely reconfiguring one or two compartments to do this right.

Got some photos on the station computer, I'll send them asap. I would say that standing the tools up is the best way to go. Ours are mounted in the nearside locker at the lowest point, so there is no reaching into trays to pick up heavy equipment where the risk of back injury is high. As ours are floor mounted, everyone has to bend the knees, not the back to get to them, therefore lessening the risk to them.United Kingdom branch, IACOJ.
