Computer program for preplans

It's been a few years since I used this one and due to a lack of anything better where I'm at I've been thinking of buying it myself. Price is not too bad at $400 for the 2d version. If you really want to get spiffy there is a 3d version for $700.

Can't wait till I can edit my posts done during moments of stupidity. I used the fire cad program at another dept. a few years back. This was an early version and it worked pretty well once you got the hang of it.

I use Microsoft Visio with Fireline Graphics. Visio runs about $200 but I'm sure you can find it cheaper on E-Bay. Here is the link to Fireline: http://www.brgproducts.com/page5.html

It is all drag and drop and real easy to use. Once you get the hang of it you'll be cranking out plans in no time.
