Ohio Analysis: Homes with smoke alarms have more fire injuries
WHY EVEN POST SOMETHING LIKE THIS ON A FIRE SERVICE WEB SITE?

Why not? They did a study and published the results. Are you saying the study was wrong? Are you claiming the results are wrong? More people are hurt because they know of a fire sooner. How many more people are still alive because of smoke detectors? (How many fire houses would not have burned to the ground if they had installed smoke detectors?) They did a study, found some answers. No one is saying having smoke detectors is a bad idea."This thread is being closed as it is off-topic and not related to the fire industry." - Isn't that what the Off Duty forum was for?
