I know I've got one of them on the phone as soon as they ask me to "justify" what they've seen in an "LAFD Training Video" on the internet.

How? How? I'm an optimist in most things by nature...but JFC, how can someone think that's a training video?

Ok, maybe you put it in your toolbox to show something in it. Or as a nice before-the-class starts screensaver...but call it a training video?

first of all, awesome video!! some serious truckies that know how to get the job done.

that being said, my natural instincts are to steer clear of all the monday morning QBs....... and the brothers on that video have a ton of experience and fight a lot more fire than me........... but.......... i can't help but throw out two words........

If you notice in the video, they are doing some major active firefighting and never stop to re-adjust their helmets. Or you dont see them falling side to side like other heavier head buckets.

You are correct about not having to re-adjust thier helmets. They just fall off as in one of the scenes.

I thought so too. At least, the einvironment seems fun to work in. Don't know much about the dept. Have a buddy that just got picked up there. Believe he's already started.

The video is awesome. Just good fun stuff to watch. I won't sit here and question events of which I know nothing, particularly when I probably have less experience/training than many of the bros involved. I mean, even a truckie oughta' be able to see that.

All the videos of my site can be downloaded, and I use the same site U-Tube, Look back were you uploaded it when you go to edit there is a place that says public or privite it must be on public in order for us to download it
