For those of you that have Kussmaul's auto air eject, how reliable has it been? Has it ejected every time it's needed to? Any other issues with it?

We have had very few problems with ours. (3 years? now) The problems we have encountered have been dirt on the fittings. Clean and a little lube they work great.

Ours pop out just fine. Don't let people yank them out of the fittings, that tends to screw them up.

Agreed, if mounting on pump panel or outside, road dirt will a problem. We encountered the air eject failing and changed to a recessed type with cover and we havent had a problem since.

WE added them to all of our apparatus (3) and have had no trouble with them, as a precaution make sure the air line is ejected far enough away so you wont run over with the engine / truck pulling out of the bay.

Excellent! We use them on 5 out of our 8 trucks (other trucks don't have air or have a pump on them). Only problem we've had is that the plastic housing on the side of the truck easily and don't stand near it when they eject! (you'll be talking in a lower octave for a long time!). Also, if you have ejecting battery chargers as well, it's nice to like zip tie the two together.
