I see that the Cornelius Fire Department in Oregon received 1 million in round 22 of the AFG for Operations and Safety. The AFG website breaks the project down to $411 for equipment and $1,175,000.00 for PPE. I may only be vaguely familiar with the Cornelius Fire Department, but I'm pretty sure they only have 1 station, 2 engines, 2 rescues, 1 tender, 2 wildland engines, about 10000 residents and about 40 line personnel. 1.175 million for PPE for 40 doesn't compute.
This HAS to be a regional award............doesn't it?

Probably, I know a few areas went regional on PPE in an attempt to gain scoring. But it doesn't work like that with such projects, each involved department is still judged on individual merits for PPE, regional doesn't help and in some cases hurts.
Either way, that's my guess too. The $411 in equipment is kinda puzzling when put with the million plus for PPE. Heck of a lot of it too. Almost 600 sets at $2000/set. OK 587.5, I used the calculator.
