    Default Trench Rescue Awareness

I am preparing a Trench Rescue Awareness level Class for new recruits and was wondering if anyone had a Power Point that would cover the basics of trench rescue safety, and size up procedures. Any resources would be appreciated. Thanks

If you want to spend some money, there's one available here:

I'm checking with Colonie Fire in NY. They might have one.

I have some you will definetly want. Send me an e mail and I will get you some for awareness, operations, and technician.

This is what we use in combination with the text from Martinette. The file may be too large to e mail, if so I will put it on a disc an send.

Illinois has a technical rescue awareness class (TRA) that covers all of 1670. It is an 8 hour day but it is good for every firefighter to know.
