BBC Doc. "The Bronx Is Burning"

I've been looking for the video off and on for some time now. I have not had a bit of luck finding a copy. Anyone have any idea where I might be able to get one?

Someone want to burn me a copy of thiers? LOL ..

It's getting a little frustrating when I keep coming up with ziltch..

I have also been trying to find this documentry. I have even gone so far as to email BBC and never received any reply from them. If you have any luck please let us know where to find it.

The movie the Bronx is Burning was aquired by a gentleman in Pennsylvannia from the BBC archives. The film was in horrible shape. He had it saved (as best as could be done, and made a few copies for people. I know my copy was given to another firefighter years ago.

You may be able to find someone who has it still but I cannot vouch for the quality. The other firefighters who had copies were members of the Mystic Hook and Ladder Co. Mystic Fire Department, Mystic Ct.

I cannot say whether any of those people are still there, most went onto paid jobs. Another possibility is a Captain Smith (retired) Norwich Fire Department or Firefighter Lindy on the Squad in the Bronx.

I have also searched hi and low for this documentary. I even e-mailed Dennis Smith, who is in the movie, and he didn't have any suggestions other than the BBC. If anybody has any info, I would love to get a copy. Thanks
