    Default Sickening "Hunting" Video

I'm sure there are plenty of hunters that visit here, and I thought you might be interested in this:

    http://www.real-hunters.com/bellar-trial-video.cfm

This video was used as evidence in the sentencing phase of the Federal trial of Russ Bellar in January of 2005. It represents only a few minutes of the estimated 400 hours of confiscated video footage seized during the pre-trial investigation and is now a matter of public record.

As a hunter this is absolutely SICKENING to watch. I can't believe people actually stoop this low to "hunt" and take an animal. This is morally and ethically wrong.

Fishing celebrity Jimmy Houston is also seen on this video "hunting" in a small enclosure (3-6 acres) with bait hidden amongst the leaves around his stand.

This type of BS is what gives real hunters a bad name and it only helps fuel the anti-hunters stance.

Paying $15K to $20K to "hunt" drugged deer in an enclosure is hardly sport.

    Teddy Roosevelt was correct.
‎"The education of a firefighter and the continued education of a firefighter is what makes "real" firefighters. Continuous skill development is the core of progressive firefighting. We learn by doing and doing it again and again, both on the training ground and the fireground."

I couldnt even watch all of the videos, it was ****ing me off too much. I too hunt, the real way, I go into the woods, and sit or walk, often not seeing a damn thing. What was displayed in those videos isnt hunting its a disgrace! The deer walking up to the gun barrel video was the one that really angered me, why would the shooter wait until the deer was actually walking away before shooting especially with the broadside shot at 15-20 yards? I was taught make your shot clean and go for a one shot kill.

"Like shooting fish in a barrel." It's times like that I wish I were a Game Warden.
Just know, I chose my own fate. I drove by the fork in the road and went straight.

Because that's all he is, a shooter. He's not a hunter.

Damn, if you're willing to pay $15,000 just to shoot a deer, why not take a guided trip somewhere and do some real hunting?

What the hell kind of sick bastard enjoys this kind of stuff?

"I have a dream. It's not a big dream, it's just a little dream. My dream — and I hope you don't find this too crazy — is that I would like the people of this community to feel that if, God forbid, there were a fire, calling the fire department would actually be a wise thing to do. You can't have people, if their houses are burning down, saying, 'Whatever you do, don't call the fire department!' That would be bad."
