    Default laptops

i am sure this isn't the first time this has been brought up, but what type of computers are you guys using in their rigs. we are looking to get about 3 and not sure where to go. i know that atleast 2 of them have to have the infared system so that we can print our run reports at the hospital. but the other 1 or maybe 2 do not. we were looking at the toughbooks, but they are tough on the checkbooks! any other suggestions. would have to be able to have a touchscreen, the only other one with this is gateway! any suggestions would be great! thanks

Toughbooks. From our resident tech guy that takes care of the PD fleet, buying cheap just means buying more often. To get the TB,GPS and modem it was about 8K per rig installed.
