Default Anybody heard of Fyrepel/Lakeland gear?

Does anybody have experience with Fyrepel gear manufactured by Lakeland industries?

Fyrrepel Approach suits yes, nothing more than that. What are you looking for exactly?

We've got 6 sets of Fyrepel gear in use, and we are not pleased. The quality isn't great, and its not what we expected. So we went back to Globe.

Our department bought 10 sets of Fyrepel Advance bunker gear a few years ago. We don't run many structure fires so the gear was not really put through its paces. You get what you pay for. We were able to buy 2 sets of this gear for the price of 1 high end set. The gear was sent out for repairs pretty frequently for the rips in the knee areas.

The Advance structural gear. The State of Alabama has a contract that local governments can purchase off of without having to go through a bid process. We need to buy a couple of gear sets for new members and I'm asking for user's experiences to see if it is worth trying a couple of sets.

I have a set of the Sterling Heights series gear, it has worked pretty good so far. I don't run alot of structures, more MVC's. I have the Milenia outer shell, I have had the gear just about a year and haven't had any problems yet.

We had some level A HazMat suits made by Lakeland. They were poorly constructed and most failed the pressure test. The whole order was rejected.
