April 24 - May 12 Mail-ins must be post-marked by May 12 and received by May 19

Multiple Choice Testing Last two weeks of June*

Physical Capabilities Test Practice Days July 24 - August 3

Oral Board and Physical Capabilities Test First full three weeks of August*

Eligible List No later than November 14, 2006

Does Columbus give bonus points for being on a professional fire dept or for having a journeyman firefighter card. Also does Columbus recognize journeyman cards from other states. I have one from West Virginia.

only bonus points is for millitary and it 's 5 points, which is huge. If you got on you start fresh like everyone else, no one cares what you have done in the past. You still have to go through emt school and 240, you just don't have to sit for the registry and state exam.
