I think the warning devices are a little overkill. I wonder what Pierce though when they saw that spec. Why dident they put on 2 Q's, to go with the two rotorays.

I wonder if you could use that rig to pull up with the nose right up against a structure, hit all the sirens at once and blow out the fire.

Deep down inside, part of me still thinks that with all of those noisemakers and blinkie-blinkies some twit yaking on a cell phone is still going to crash into them or not move out of the way.

I agree, some whacker is in a very moist bed right now.

ROFLMAO, I never even made it to sleep....

Kidding....the airhorn cluster puts it over the top, if it wasn't for that it'd be a VERY nice rig.

That's the best thing about having so many apparatus builders here in WI. Especially Pierce, with that rig.

Reminds me of a black rig I saw online somewhere (maybe a link here on the forums) that had a bunch of crap all over it, including TWO Federal Q's.

There was just some talk about standardized apparatus here

    http://forums.firehouse.com/showthre...t=61225&page=1

I think this is the solution, that should be the National Standard engine provided with Fire grants, since it comes with everything, the department receiving it can take off the extra stuff and use it to outfit the rest of their fleet.

If that fits their needs, more power to them. The airhorns look like a spanked *** though.

Those aren't air horns, it's a pneumatic reverse thruster as back up for the installed jake brake... For the power requirements, Leece-Neville got a woody and Motorola had a coronary!

    Talk about overkill....

Kinda overkill if you ask me....What Long Island department is this for, anyway?
    Chief Dwayne LeBlanc
    Paincourtville Volunteer Fire Department

"I have a dream. It's not a big dream, it's just a little dream. My dream — and I hope you don't find this too crazy — is that I would like the people of this community to feel that if, God forbid, there were a fire, calling the fire department would actually be a wise thing to do. You can't have people, if their houses are burning down, saying, 'Whatever you do, don't call the fire department!' That would be bad."
