    Thumbs up Firefighter Wins Gold In Turin!

    Congratulatons to Calgary Firefighter Duff Gibson who took the gold medal in the Skeleton event at the Winter Olympics. Way to go Duff all of Canada and all firefighters are proud of you!!!!!!!

    Canada is definitely holding it's own this year. We have a local skier in the GS next week, so I'm anxiously awaiting her big day.

    As of 3pm today, Canada has pulled ahead of the US in the medal count and is in a three-way tie for second place.

    Medal Count

    The US is still strong with 6 gold, but with two-weeks remaining (and all the hockey still to come in ), I think this is a going to be a good year for Canada.

    I was having lunch today and my butter chicken got cold before I could eat it because I was (along with everyone else in the restraunt) cheering them on. Gold AND Silver!!! outstanding!
