    Default Oh Canada!!!

Gold Medal in Men's Skeleton! A firefighter from Calgary won it!!!
(Apparently, he doesn't have to do chores for a week once he gets back to station...whoo hoo!)

Oh, and can we say Gold medal for the women's hockey team? I know, we have to beat Sweden, but GO CANADA!!!!!

On the way to the station. Really. It's 12 kilometers away and there's traffic.

    Good for him!

I'll tell you, that sport is crazy. The other Canadian, Jay Pain (I think), was simply falling down a mountain and happened to be laying on a sled. He was out of control for most of the run and came in 2nd.

Sure, enjoy your gold. Im in shock, the US had looked SO good.

Oh well. Now that the US ladies are out and the men dont have a chance, time to turn my attention to the Canadian mens team. You know, the one with 3 of my boys from the Lighting on it (4 if you count reserves).

    Go Canada!

The Cannucks must have done the Brit out of a medal, he was in a good position too. His girlfriend won silver in the womens skeleton. (Wonder if there will be a "mixed bob" sometime!!)

Duff is a great guy. He has worked hard and really deserves this. The Slovacks and the Finns look like the teams to beat on the mens hockey side.

Not only that, but Dominique Maltais, who won Bronze in the Ladies Snowboard Cross, is a Montreal firefighter!
