Omaha Fire or Council Bluffs Info

Has anyone from the midwest heard of any upcoming tests soon. Any Input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

there is supposed to be a testing in the fall of 06 get hr of omaha and they will send you a letter when the dates come up.

Council Bluffs tested in the Sumer of 04. They have not hired anyone off the list as far as I know. CB has also had a lot of retirements in the last couple of years so I assume they are having some big staffing/budget problems.

Omaha tested in the fall of 04. They use the CPS written test, CPAT and a video interview. I think they test every 2 years so it should be this fall.

Both are really good departments but Omaha pays better.

Omaha did not use the video interview last time around as the third part of the hiring process. They used the Fire Team test from ergometrics instead.

I took Omaha's test last time. Like Residence said they tested in the fall of 2004 and they just got done with Chief's interviews a couple of months ago. So if you want Omaha Fire you have to be patient. But from the guys that I talk to its worth it.
