Default PA-300 Siren Driver For Sale

Federal PA-300 Siren Driver for sale in very good condition. Includes wiring harness. I used it in a rack so I don't have the bracket but they're very cheap on ebay or from Federal.
Brand new was $249, asking $125, Paypal payments only. Will ship anywhere in the US for $10
Email me for ordering instructions or other info. I think I attached a pic here. If it didn't work just email me at tylewis@ptd.net.

FYI, a siren driver is part of the speaker It is the big heavy piece with the magnet and ring that makes the noise and is attached to the housing and horn of the speaker. What you have there is known simply as a siren or siren amplifier.

    This is a driver

This is an example of a complete speaker illustrating how the driver interacts

Edit.... I wouldn't know this either except I used to work for one of the large manufacturers in that department so I know these otherwise usless and trivial facts

Even the burger-flippers at McDonald's probably have some McWackers.

Well thanks very much for that piece of info. I would modify the post but it doesn't look like I can now that there's a reply.

I've heard some of the "more experienced" guys in the firehouse call them drivers so I assumed they knew what they were talking about. But you know what happens when you assume!

Man I wish I would have seen this before I bought one on e-Bay. I've been trying to find the mounting bracket and a replacement horn/siren switch. Does anyone know a good place to find federal parts?

Hey, sold the one I had posted above.

I'm surprised you bought one on ebay, that's one of their banned items. Must have slipped past them. Any emergency lighting or sirens are not allowed the last time I checked or I would have listed it there.

I would first try Federal Signal http://www.fedsig.com/index.php
They should be able to supply any part you need for that siren.
