    Default Hi guys

    Hi, I don't really frequent this part of the site but I figured I would start. As of yesterday I will now be the newest member into the Dispatch community. I will start work as an EMS Dispatcher for one of the local hospitals in my area. I was just curious if some of the more seasoned vets of this realm can give me a few pointers for my new job. Thanks and hope to chat with you all more.

    Are you working out of the hospital dispatching apparatus only, or taking 911 calls and dispatching?

    We take the calls that our County dispatch gives us and we then turn around and dispatch 20 or so ambulances and 3 helicopters.
