I went there and applied in january, and since then ive heard nothing. Has anyone else who applied heard anything about the written test? I know the sheet says 23rd and 24th, but i thought they were going to give is one or the other as our assigned day to test. I thought by now i would have received some info in the mail. Anyone know what the deal is?

I got something in the mail from them today, but it was just a reminder of the test prep days. Id kinda like to know what day im testing, so i can plan ahead for transportation, and if i need to miss any classes.

Took the test this morning. I thought it was pretty good, alot of psychology questions. What you did in high school bla bla bla....
It took me 3 hours, but alot of people finished before that.
I thought it was hard not to read into the questions, the other hard part now is to wait and find out. So until then I'll just 2nd guess my anwsers untill i get the results after May 15.

dissapointed
Well I took the minneapolis test and was extremely dissapointed on how easy it was. I was done in 1 hr. I kind of wish that they would make it harder so that they can weed out more people. They are taking the top 180 out of 1200 or so? There are going to be a lot of ties I think... ties that may go to whoever turned in their application first. Kinda dumb. Oh well, if anyone was EXPECTING (including me) to get on the dept. then we are all foolish. Good Luck everyone.

Pass? Fail?
Its been about 3.5 months since we took the written now. I still havn't heard anything yet. I understand they have some drama going o at the top right now but how does that change results of a simple written test. Any word on a timeline? Origionally the whole process was going to be done by August. I have tested a lot but I can't figure out what can be going on here.

If you don’t mind me asking, I’m curious as to what you scored on the personality inventory/customer service portion of the test.
I wonder how close the score is from 1st place to 180th place.
Thanks, and good luck to you guys with the interviews!

minneapolis test
acw, it helps to have minneapolis residency and prior military service. I have both and I'm ranked 38, probably a lot higher if I didn't have those extras. good luck to everyone who made it this far.

I still havn't recieved my results yet. I called HR Friday with reply no yet. Did you guys that passed have the 5 residency points? I had them and hopefully that will put me over the top. Also, when are the orals and the physical abilities test? I was doing pretty good being patient but I am now getting anxious again. Any idea on what the passing score was for the apptitude part of the test was?
Ill let you know when I hear.
