since april of 05 ive gone through the written test, cpat, background interview/investigation, and polygraph test. have have passed every step thus far now i have an appointment for the last step which i sthe panel interview. since i have gone this far are my chances good? i heard the polygrah and background investigation are the two most expensive things to put a person throuh. i would like to think my chances are excellent. any feedback would be appreciated on any ones experences with this same situation..thanks

Background
Your background and psyc should be easy . The main thing to remember is to NEVER lie on a background. As an ex investigator let me say this....I have had to have candidates removed from training classes because of omissions on their backgrounds. If I had a candidate lie once he or she will lie twice.
