I'm curious if anyone knows where I might find information on the hazards of poison ivy when it's burning? Are there special respiratory issues that need to be taken, and if so, what type? Thanks in advance for any info.

I have heard many claims about it but there are lots of firefighters around here who catch poison oak very badly and there are lots of fires around here where it is THE primary fuel and I have never heard of anybody getting an actual case of it in their respiratory tract, ever.

From a site about poison ivy, courtest of google
"Never burn the plants. The urushiol carried in smoke from burning poison ivy is extremely toxic. It can cause lung infections and a rash all over one's body."
